Annual luncheon a Forget Me Not

The eighth annual Forget Me Not fashion luncheon and fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer Society of Kingston will be held on Saturday at The Harbour, 53 Yonge St. The show begins at 11:30 a.m., and the day's events include checking out the latest fashions, raffles, balloon prizes and other entertainment. Last year's show raised almost $11,000 for the society and goes towards funding programs and services for area residents and their families who are coping with Alzheimer's. Forget Me Not tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased from several local businesses, including Cleo, Lindor and La Senza in the Cataraqui Town Centre, Expressions, 2815 Princess St., Fancy That at 50 Princess St., The Roundstone, 48 Princess St., Gracie's at 326 King St. E. and Sun Protective Clothing located at 598 Norris Court. The Alzheimer Society will also have tickets available at their 100 Stuart St. location.
